Michigan United is committed to training the leaders that want to build the Power necessary to fight the oligarchy and build a more inclusive democracy where elected officials put the needs of working families over corporate profit, where immigrants are welcome, where our environment is protected and where Black communities thrive.
When you sign up to the Organizing Revival 1.0 you commit to participate in all the following trainings as well as joining one of the many committees of Michigan United to put in practice what you are learning:
Training Schedule:
- Aug 21st, 6 pm – 8 pm: How the Ultra Wealthy Steal Power? Understanding the strategy of the opposition.
- Sept 4th, 6 pm – 8 pm: Self-Interest, how to organize your community on the issues they care about.
- Sept 25th, 6 pm – 8 pm: One to One Conversations, how to build public relationships based on trust.
- Oct 9th, 6 pm – 8 pm: Power, how to build the necessary power to achieve the changes you want to see in your community.
- Oct 23rd, 6 pm – 8 pm: Dominant Narrative, how to shed the lies that are keeping you from building power.
