MU in Action
Even though it was hot, we still had the Flint Justice Assembly—and it went really well! Despite the heat, 19 of our 31 signups came to the event; our thanks to them.
At the event, Sebastian James, Data & Technology Manager at MU presented on the Big Beautiful Bill Act. He used a new and cool A.I. tool that helps answer questions about it.
Then Adonis Flores, MU's Training Director, reminded us how to have good one-on-one conversations and even showed us how it’s done. Thanks to both of them for making everything clear and helpful.
We want to say "congratulations" to the 21 people who finished the Organizing 1.0 training. If you're interested, Organizing 1.0 is learning about community power, telling our stories, and connecting with our neighbors. Eight of our supporters received a special shoutout and certificates of completion!
Thanks to everyone who was part of it—you’re helping us do amazing things together!
PS: Big shoutout to Charles for helping out, especially for giving a ride to one of our leaders and a new friend who wants to join.
19 people came out in 90-degree heat to change their community. Here's another way to do it too:
