We distributed over 4,000 gun locks in Detroit and another 1,000 in Flint.
Our team trained 77 members across the state on legislative meetings, direct actions, and story of self to prepare for our Capitol Day.
We trained another 55 leaders on our advanced Strategic Campaigns training in 2025.
We held our Capitol Day in Lansing with at least 344 staff and members in attendance from all across the state. 22 of our leaders were in roles. We collaborated with 32
The Neighborhood Captains Program is a grassroots leadership and political organizing initiative powered by the Michigan Working Families Party (MI WFP) and partnered with Michigan United Action.
This ran from Mid August to Mid October 2025 with 13 volunteer captains: who knocked a total of 1448 doors throughout districts 6&7 in Detroit, had 370 conversations, and were trained on Fundamentals of organizing (Power, Self Interest, One to ones, and Dominant Narratives)
